Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

Unit Position Summary

Collaborate with the Assistant Provost and other co-authors to prepare two manuscripts for publication:
• Serve as lead author for the People, Relationships, and Pathways manuscript, adapting an existing draft to incorporate updates to the framework and developing case examples that demonstrate its application.
• Collaborate with co-authors to revise, finalize, and submit the manuscript and respond to editorial and peer-review feedback.
• Support preparation of the RIITool manuscript by reviewing drafts, providing substantive feedback, and contributing to revisions and other publication-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in fields relevant to responsibilities.
• Knowledge of research approaches and methodologies, including with conducting research literature review & synthesis.
• Prior knowledge of the People, Relationships, and Pathways and RIITool projects
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with public engagement frameworks
• Experience with research impact assessment frameworks.
