Unit Position Summary

The MSU Entomology Department seeks qualified applicants for Temporarypositions. Duties will include following established protocols to oversee and set-up laboratory and/or field operations, assists in planning and designing experiments, conducting experiments, and analyzing resulting data in order to participate in conducting research projects. Background in Entomology is desired but must be willing to learn basic insectidentification and handling techniques. Must comply with laboratory and field safety regulations and procedures. Duties will also include effective communication with team members. The position may require driving a university owned vehicle; a valid Vehicle Operators License is required.

Desired Qualifications

Ability to work outdoors in adverse conditions for long periods of time. Good communication skills are highly desirable. Organized and punctual
