Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or on-call position. Provides support for concerts, sporting events, outdoor functions and related University special events. Duties may include working at an assigned station in a concession stand; preparing and dispensing refreshments; transporting, maintaining and arranging supplies, equipment and materials; operating a cash drawer; assisting with parking enforcement; acting as an event usher; and similar event related responsibilities. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

Unit Position Summary

This is an on-call position.  Provides supporting roles for Athletic events, related University special events.  Duties may include acting as an Athletic Event Staff - ticket taker, usher, customer service, etc. Staff within these roles will interact with the public, assist guests with seat locations, supervisor their assigned area, assist guest with game day question and other positional responsibilities.

Desired Qualifications

We are looking for Athletic event staff with friendly, outgoing people skills; who are confident, respectful and professional when interacting with crowds; able to stand on their feet for 5-7 hours, walk up and down stairs and be comfortable in working in different weather conditions.  Staff must ideally be able to work ALL or at least six of the 7 games listed below.

Saturday, Nov. 14th vs. Washington - time tbd

Friday, Nov. 20th vs. Oregon - 8:00 p.m.
