This is a temporary or on-call position. Performs a variety of duties in support of summer camps and conferences, such as responding to participant concerns, questions and emergencies; maintaining/monitoring camp rules, checking in/out of participants, attending meetings. May involve overnight supervision of participants. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.
Junior Program Counselors (PC) will commute to campus each day.
Junior PCs are responsible for escorting and monitoring students on campus, and in locations near campus. Other responsibilities for Junior PCs include: creating a friendly and comfortable environment for students, managing student check-in adn check-out each day, and monitoring students during their daily classes on campus.
Junior PCs work together as a team, under the guidance of lead Program Counselors (PCs). Timeframe will be about 7:30am - 6pm each day.
Gifted University for Precocious and Passionate Youth (GUPPY) is a weekend or week-long program for academically talented students in grades 4-6
