The MSU Department of Radiology is seeking a Botanical Technologist I to aid in the maintenance of the Radiology Healing Gardens, including plant, pond, greenhouse, and interiorscape maintenance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Botany or Horticulture; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in botanical gardening, pest control and plant identification; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and an Ornamental and Turf Pesticide Applicators Certificate.

Lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing
Work in noisy (at or above 85 decibels) areas; wear a respirator (does not include paper dust mask work for comfort); spray or mix organophosphate or carbamate insecticides (if applicable).
