Technical Aide

Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

Assist project director with development of multi-media tools for results dissemination to diverse audience. Specific duties include: Developing and maintaining an organic beans production and processing information portal that can be linked to project team’s current websites. Developing a series of layperson audience research summaries (i.e., PowerPoints, short write-ups, vlogs) that can be used for farm radio, social media, and poster presentations. Assist with developing webinar series catering to the different stakeholders of the project. Assist in developing a series of materials on project results, i.e., on-demand videos and quick facts sheets. Assist project team with other needed project activities.

Desired Qualifications

Associate or preferably Bachelor’s degree in IT related field.
