Unit Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated researcher to contribute to an innovative interdisciplinary project examining the relationships between producer wellbeing, grazing management, and resilience in cow-calf production systems. The successful candidate will work across quantitative, qualitative, and computational methods to investigate how subjective wellbeing influences grazing management decisions and how management practices, in turn, shape wellbeing outcomes. The project combines analysis of longitudinal wellbeing data, thematic qualitative research, participatory systems mapping using fuzzy cognitive maps, and agent-based modeling of social-ecological systems. 

Desired Qualifications

• Required Degree: PhD
• Mixed methods researcher
• Research experience in US cow-calf systems
• Published research on subjective social wellbeing
