Michigan State University’s School of Criminal Justice has openings for up to 5 part-time fixed term Instructors to teach one to two courses per year. Searching for candidates with expertise or experience teaching in criminal procedure, criminology, policing, courts, corrections, cyber-security, and private security. Duties include teaching on campus to undergraduate students during the year. Salary and terms are negotiable based on experience.
Position is planned to recur every Fall Semester.

Masters -Criminal Justice or Social Science
Doctorate -Criminal Justice or Social Science
The positions require a Master’s degree for the rank of Instructor and a Bachelor's degree for the rank of Assistant Instructor from an accredited university. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence and/or significant work experience in areas related to teaching assignment (e.g., policing, courts, corrections, private security, or cyber-security). Candidates must have the ability to teach at the undergraduate level.
