Position Summary
Michigan State University's Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology seeks a board certified or eligible neurologist with experience in vascular neurology. We value most individuals who wish to work within a team, teach residents, fellows and medical students along with participation in clinical or basic science research on the campus of one of the country's great universities.
Duties will include examination of vascular neurology patients to determine presence, nature and extent of disease or injury and administration of medical services to address conditions.
The Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology has an active and robust clinical focus and is affiliated with the MSU Neuroscience program. The Department has both required and elective medical school clerkships, an active neurology residency and expanding fellowship programs. We seek individuals who wish to work within a team to help expand the clinical practice and research at MSU.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Medicine/Osteopathic Medicine
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of an MD or DO degree and successful completion of a neurology residency with board certification or eligible in neurology. Candidates must be eligible for a physician's license in the State of Michigan.
Desired Qualifications
Completion of a vascular neurology fellowship program.

Must be available to provide inpatient and on-call hospital coverage of vascular neurology service any day and time of the week throughout the year.
