Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The Department of Microbiology, Genetics, & Immunology seeks a part-time research Technical Aide to work in the Shames laboratory. The candidate should have experience with keeping a laboratory notebook, cell culture, molecular biology, and aseptic technique. This is a limited term position funded for 6 months from the date of hire. 

Desired Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. degree in Biology or related discipline.
