Position Summary

This position provides support to the Department of Mathematics. The selected candidate will assist with the normal daily clerical activities of both the program and department. Duties include but are not limited to: providing general office support including answering and screening phone calls and emails; scheduling appointments and meetings; processing EBS documents and submissions to include purchasing, travel authorizations, and disbursement vouchers; processing drops, adds, overrides, grade changes and other related tasks for the Department of Mathematics; creating spreadsheets, word documents and templates as needed; typing, editing and proofreading; composing and producing materials necessary for reporting purposes; reconciling accounts and time records; 

 

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education with coursework in typing and shorthand; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, calendaring and/or presentation software; typing and filing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
