Position Description

Join the dynamic team at Michigan State University Radiology as we seek board-certified or board-eligible radiologists in various subspecialties including body imaging, breast imaging, emergency, interventional, musculoskeletal, neuro and general radiology. We offer on-site and hybrid positions, fostering work-life balance while meeting patient needs.

We are seeking individuals with experience providing high quality interpretation, who are passionate about cultivating a high-quality, patient-focused practice and are dedicated to excellence, embracing a collaborative peer-learning environment. Our radiologists interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, providing exceptional patient-centered care at our cutting-edge imaging centers, built in 2022 and 2023. Our facilities boast state-of-the-art MR, CT, PET/CT, ultrasound, and general diagnostic equipment. As a full-time faculty member in the Michigan State University Colleges of Osteopathic and Human Medicine Department of Radiology, we encourage faculty to participate in teaching residents and students, collaborate on research projects, and explore scholarly pursuits.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Radiology

Minimum Requirements

DO or MD degree

Meets required qualifications for a State of Michigan medical license

Board-eligible or board-certified in radiology 

Additional certification in neuroradiology, interventional radiology or nuclear medicine (as applicable)

This center opened in June 2023 and houses cutting-edge MR, CT, PET/CT, ultrasound, and general diagnostic equipment, enabling us to deliver precise and comprehensive imaging services to our patients. Our research infrastructure is expanding with a new PET/MR and translational imaging facility currently under construction. With this advanced technology, we aim to enhance access to imaging, patient comfort, diagnostic accuracy, and optimized treatment, leading to improved health outcomes.

Our commitment to patient care extends beyond our university campus through strong partnerships with statewide community health providers. Collaborations with McLaren, Corewell Health, and Henry Ford Health System allow us to reach a broader patient base and contribute to the betterment of healthcare throughout Michigan. Additionally, we nurture strong academic-industry collaborations with imaging manufacturers, BAMF Health, and Cardinal Health. These partnerships enable us to access the latest advancements in medical technology and drive innovation in radiological imaging and therapies.
