Position Summary

Teach HRLR 855 International Human Resources Management, Fall 2024 in the School of Human Resources and Labor Relations. This course provides an introduction to managing human resources across borders, with an emphasis on the strategies and practices of multinational corporations (MNCs). Course content includes the unique opportunities and challenges of operating in a global economy, the ways in which cross-national differences in institutions and cultures shape MNC approaches to business and human resource management, how corporations respond to these environmental complexities, why they adopt different approaches to business and HR management, and whether alternative strategies affect important outcomes for firms, employees, and other stakeholders. Option to be taught online-synchronous. 

Position is planned to recur every Fall Semester

PhD in human resources management or related field.

Successful experience as an instructor or teaching assistant in a related area at university level.

Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Demonstrated ability with undergraduate or graduate students.

Emerging or established record of scholarly activity.
