Position Summary

Michigan State University Radiology is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible radiologist with experience providing high quality interpretation and with successful completion of a residency in Radiology.  Candidates should have interest in developing a high quality, patient focused practice and commitment to excellence to embrace a peer-learning environment while participating in academic and scholarly work. 

Responsibilities will include interpretation of a full spectrum of diagnostic imaging providing high-quality patient centered care in an entirely new imaging center with all new MR, CT, and general diagnostic equipment. Teaching residents and students, research collaboration, and scholarly work opportunities are strongly supported. This full-time academic appointment will serve the Michigan State University Colleges of Osteopathic and Human Medicine Department of Radiology.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Radiology

Minimum Requirements

DO or MD degree

Meets required qualifications for a State of Michigan medical license.

Board-eligible or board-certified in radiology 

Successful completion of a neuroradiology fellowship or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Exposure to human blood, serum, tissue and other body fluids, and materials covered under Universal Precautions.  Risks that have been identified by Environmental Health and Safety, such as exposure to lead, chemotherapy, formaldehyde, asbestos, and exposure to ionizing radiation and exposure to radiopharmaceuticals.
