Position Summary

The Associate Director, Global Career Initiatives, is a key member of the team that provides career education, creates, and delivers innovative global career programming. This role will focus heavily, though not exclusively, on the needs of our international student population.  This is a unique opportunity for a highly talented professional with a passion for working with a diverse student body. 

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a Master's degree, and one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience related to the area of employment; or knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a Bachelor’s degree, and three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience developing career programs and activities; advising individuals and groups in a variety of settings; public speaking; writing and editing for mass distribution; working in a team environment; use of internet, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in higher education, business, counseling strongly preferred. Possess career coaching experience and knowledge of the specific needs of international students
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing, creating, and implementing international students' career development programs
  • Proven experience building relationships, multitasking, and working effectively in a team environment
  • Possess career coaching experience and knowledge of the specific needs of international students; demonstrate expertise in designing, creating, and implementing international  students career development programs
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the international student recruitment landscape and ability to develop relationships with global employers.
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed, work flexible hours according to the demand of the business
  • This position is currently expected to work three days a week in the office
