Position Summary
The Department of Family Medicine is hiring a fixed term Assistant Professor to carry out special projects in collaboration with the College of Human Medicine Dean’s Office. This individual will carry out research studies consistent with CHM Dean’s Office priorities and will disseminate the findings of such research. Additionally, this individual will be expected to develop their own research projects and to seek internal and external funding in support of their research. Consistent with other research faculty, this individual will also be expected to teach or otherwise contribute to the educational mission of the Department through mentoring students and/or developing curricular resources.

Required Degree
Doctorate -PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field, such as public health, epidemiology, sociology and anthropology.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. degree or be approaching completion of a Ph.D. to be completed by the position start date.
Desired Qualifications
Track record of peer-reviewed publications and presentations; track record of external funding for research; experience in research specific to medication education, patient outcomes, health systems and health policy, and/or social determinants of health.
