Position Summary

The Dorrance lab seeks highly motivated applicants for an open postdoctoral research associate position. Applicants should have a PhD in Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology or a related field. Applicants should be interested in studying cerebrovascular disease and dementia development and have experience using in vivo and ex vivo techniques to study vascular function. This position will require strong communication and leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with other scientists on a fast-paced project. The duration is 1 year, with the option of renewal for additional years based on performance.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology

Minimum Requirements

Experience in cardiovascular research using laboratory models of hypertension
