Position Summary

The Michigan State University Department of Pediatrics and Human Development seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor in the study of pediatric precision medicine. Areas of interest particular to this position include neuroscience and the roles of epigenetics and genomics in developmental biology. This position will be based at the College of Human Medicine's Grand Rapids campus.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a broad range of precision pediatrics researchers across several Michigan State University campuses, and with investigators at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital/Corewell Health West and the Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids.

This position is open at the assistant professor and associate professor levels, with rank and salary commensurate with experience.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Neuroscience, Genomics, Epigenetics, or a related field.

Minimum Requirements

Only candidates holding an MD, DO, and/or PhD in a related field will be eligible for consideration. Physician candidates must be board-certified or eligible for certification, and all candidates must be eligible for fixed-term appointment with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

Desired Qualifications

A strong record of extramural funding is preferred.
