Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences is seeking an on-call technical aide to assist research labs with day to day operations.  Duties include data entry related to lab research; gathering studies on related research topics; typing copy for manuscripts as supplied by research team, answering phone, filing.

Desired Qualifications

High School Diploma. Undergraduate degree from a 4 year institution preferred. Background in Geosciences or other related field strongly preferred.
