This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.
The College of Arts & Letters (CAL) invites applications for a scholarly communications developer to support the growth and development of Knowledge Commons, a nonprofit academic professional network connecting scholars across disciplines worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to work with the team leading the technical evolution of a large-scale, scholar-focused platform supporting research and scholarly practice.
The ideal candidate will be a leader in technical infrastructure for scholarly communication with a passion for fostering scholarly collaboration, an aptitude for designing scalable solutions, and exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. This role requires an innovative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
