Sports Operations Assistant/Dance Coach

Position Summary

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support a broad variety of administrative tasks including compile information, produce reports, make travel arrangements, complete expense and mileage reports and prepare and compose correspondence. Provide support to members of athletic department senior leadership.
• Compile information, produce reports and compose correspondence, serving as a liaison between athletic administrators, coaches, university faculty and staff, organizations and community groups.
• Oversee office management at 1855 Place which includes supervising student employees and scheduling, ordering office supplies and managing inventory, maintaining and managing calendars and scheduling of conference rooms
• Supervise MSU dance team
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Administration, Physical Education or a closely related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in collegiate athletic administration; including program management, computer software applications, and coordination of athletic special events; and knowledge of NCAA and Big Ten rules; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
