Lecturer/Ast Inst/Inst/Ast Prof Fixed Term - THR
The Department of Theatre at Michigan State University is seeking a part-time lecturer, assistant instructor, instructor, or assistant professor of Props. This is a fixed-term, nine-month position beginning August 16, 2025 and is non-renewable. Rank is determined by highest degree, with a bachelor’s degree required for an assistant instructor position and an MFA required for an assistant professor position. All degrees must be confirmed by degree-granting institutions at the time of hire.
The successful candidate will be teaching an introduction to Props Crafts course to graduate and undergraduate students and serving as a mentor for students assigned as props designers for the 2025/2026 department productions.
Specific Responsibilities: Teach 1 class FS25 and 1 class SS26 and mentorship
