Position Summary

The LCTE Instructor-Fixed Term assists the LCTE Program Director with overall program planning and pre-departure meetings prior to departure, coordinates all on-site logistical support while traveling abroad with the group, and conducts follow up assessment with the Program Director and Program Assistant. Travel expenses including overseas transportation, lodging, meals, and activities, are provided. The LCTE Leader must complete a mandatory training program prior to assignment.

This is a summer recurring position.

Position is planned to recur every Summer Semester

Required Degree

Masters -Education

Minimum Requirements

Teaching / instructional experience in collegiate environments; Experience leading (or co-leading) an education abroad program; Attention to detail and ability to handle ambiguous situations and/or competing demands in a safe, mature, and effective manner; Ability to effectively handle confidential and/or sensitive information; Must be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds; Master’s Degree in education.

Desired Qualifications

Basic conversational knowledge and skills in a language other than English (e.g. Dutch, French, German); Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in education
