Position Summary

The School of Hospitality Business in Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University is seeking a fixed-term instructor to teach undergraduate students in the area of Private Membership Social and Recreational Club Operations and Management, including city, country, yacht, and athletic clubs. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one section of HB321 Club Operations and Management (3 credits) in the fall semester of each academic year. Some student advising and curriculum development are expected as part of this position. The nurturing and maintenance of strong connections across the private membership social and recreational club industry are crucial to the success of this position. Minimum Requirements

Desired Qualifications

At least 10 years in a role with club management experience. Work experience in the hospitality industry on a global level is desired.

Certification from the Club Management Association of America as well as either the PGA of America or the LPGA.

A Master’s degree or progression towards a Master’s degree.
