Position Summary
The Department of Finance in the Eli Broad College of Business seeks applications for multiple Assistant/Associate/Full Professor appointments. Will teach in the areas of Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Behavioral Finance, Financial Data Analytics, and investments. Candidates for Assistant Professor should exhibit strong potential for high quality research likely to result in top-level publications and national recognition. Candidates for Associate/Full Professor must have an established national reputation for original and influential research and demonstrable evidence that they will continue to grow their national status. Faculty members are expected to advise Ph.D. students, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and engage in the service activities of the department and the college. Candidates are expected to complete all requirements for the Ph.D. in Finance or related field by June 30, 2024. The appointment will start August 16, 2024.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Finance, Economics, or Financial Economics
Minimum Requirements
This position requires a Ph.D. degree from an accredited university. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence. Specific areas of expertise for these positions include Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Behavioral Finance, Financial Data Analytics, and Investments. Candidates must have the ability to teach at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.
Desired Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in finance, financial economics, or related field. Excellent teaching skills are required. Candidates for Assistant Professor should exhibit strong potential for high quality research that is likely to result in top-level publications and national recognition. Candidates for Associate/Full Professor must have an established national reputation for original and influential research and demonstrable evidence that they will continue to grow their national status.
