Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

Unit Position Summary

The College of Nursing is seeking applications for a professional aide to assist with various office duties including but not limited to scheduling, travel arrangements and reimbursements, database entry, drafting correspondence, scheduling events and general office duties.  

The position will support our Academic Affairs unit which oversees our nursing programs and support of them.  Training will be available to the selected candidate.  

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. This is a full time temporary position who will work on the campus of MSU.

• Excellent organizational skills
• Moderate technology experience
• Microsoft office suite experience
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
