Position Summary
Postdoctoral position to work on mechanisms of signaling and gene regulation in bacteria in the laboratory of Lee Kroos in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University.
A highly motivated individual is sought to conduct microscopic, genetic, and biochemical experiments on mechanisms of signaling and gene regulation in Myxococcus xanthus.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Bio
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should have a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field, and at least two first-author publications. Experience working with bacteria, cloning, and microscopy is essential.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working on mechanisms of signaling and gene regulation in Myxococcus xanthus is desirable.
