Position Summary

The central mission of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the MSU College of Education is to foster a culture that is equitable, inclusive, caring, open, and safe for all students, staff, and faculty. To that end, we are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable professional to join our team. The Outreach Specialist- Fixed Term for Equity and Inclusion will provide direct support to the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) in the development, implementation and maintenance of programs, policies, and practices that promote improvements in matters of equity and inclusion in the College among students, faculty, and staff

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 5 years developing and delivering diversity, equity, and inclusion-related programming; 1-2 years experience applying for and managing grants.

Experience working with a diverse array of education stakeholders (K-12 and higher education)
