Will be responsible for securing and administering externally funded outreach and engaged research projects that support university/community partnerships in community and economic development; provides administrative leadership in support of grant and unit management; Develops and supports dissemination of research and outreach projects in community and economic development in printed and electronics formats such as webpages, webinars and other media platforms; provides written reports to funders as necessary; provides leadership to multi-disciplinary teams in project and event planning in community and economic development; organizes and conducts needs assessments, program evaluation and other applied research projects in support of community and economic development. May have other duties as assigned and necessary to carry out the scope of work for the Center.
This is an off campus position housed at the CCED State Office in Lansing

Bachelors -Urban Planning, Sociology, Adult Ed, Soc
Masters -Urban Planning, Sociology, Adult Ed, Soc
Bachelors degree required in Urban Planning, Adult Education, Sociology, Social Work, Political Science/Social Relations of related field of study. A minimum of 3 years of professional leadership experience in community and economic development partnerships and/or federal grants management. Excellent professional communication and writing skills. Experience supervising diverse project teams.
Masters degree in Urban Planning, Adult Education, Sociology, Social Work, Political Science/Social Relations of related field of study.
