Position Summary

Responsibilities include field instruction with interns and assisting with the administration of the teacher preparation program.

Required Degree

Doctorate -relevant field of study

Minimum Requirements

Appropriate K-12 teaching and school experience or relevant college-level teaching; experience working in urban K-12 schools; evidence of scholarly and professional contributions to state/national professional associations; leadership in regional or national professional development or curriculum projects; demonstrated commitment to humanizing and anti-racist pedagogies and practices, and meeting the academic needs of culturally and linguistically diverse learners.

A Phd is the required degree for the Ast Prof rank, Masters degree for the Inst rank and Bachelor degree for the Ast Inst rank.    

Desired Qualifications

Experience working in Chicago Public Schools; experience with data management platforms; experience conducting professional evaluations; experience using technology to solve problems.
