Assistant Instructor/Instructor Fixed Term
The Department of Integrative Biology (IBIO) is seeking a Fixed Term Instructor to teach IBIO 306 (Invertebrate Biology) and one section of BS162 (Organismal and Pop Biology) this coming fall semester 2020. This is a full-time appointment is for fall semester only. IBIO 306 will require considerable redevelopment. Salary equivalent to $50,000 - $60,000 per Academic Year ($25,000 - $30,000 for fall semester), depending on experience. This position may be subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining unit for the Union for Non-tenure Track Teaching (UNTF). Materials from previous offerings are available in MSU’s D2L Course Management System.
Doctorate -PhD in Biology
Assistant Instructor (Bachelor's degree)
Successful candidates are expected to have completed, or be near completion of a PhD in Biology. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching similar courses online.
