Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics is seeking an On-Call Research Associate to assist with research projects directed by Professor Guowei Wei.

Duties for this position include:

1.  Software development for dimensionality reductions with applications to single cell RNA seq. 
2.  Methdological development for computational bioinformatics.
3.  Mentoring undergraduate/graduate student research activities.  
4.  Coordinating research activities of a group of graduate students on mathematical bioinformatics.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Mathematics or related areas

Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualifications include Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related areas.
