Position Summary

The Research Associate will conduct research on metacoupling and telecoupling toolbox. The primary responsibility of the researcher will be to conduct scholarly research focused on quantitative analysis of data and develop new tools to expand the telecoupling toolbox,  manuscript development, and grant proposal development.

This is a short-term appointment approx. 5-months, not benefit eligible.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Environmental Science and Policy & Fisheries and Wildlife

Minimum Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Policy & Fisheries and Wildlife
  • Research interests and experiences in metacoupling research
  • Expertise with quantitative data analysis
  • Proficiency with R, ArcGIS, QGIS, EARDAS, Phython, GeoDa, STATA, Mplus, and SAS
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong publication track record

Desired Qualifications

Experience working in multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary collaborative teams.
