Position Summary

The Department of Surgery at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible surgical oncologist to join our clinical faculty. Appropriate applicants will have training in the full breadth of surgical oncology including GI, endocrine, soft tissue and cutaneous malignancy. Subspecialty training is welcome with the opportunity to tailor the clinical practice based on demand. Michigan State University offers a vibrant research environment that can support both basic science and clinical research. This full-time position is open to Assistant or Associate Professors interested in leading service line growth in a new state-of-the-art hospital and clinical center. The candidate will be expected to become an integral member of a busy clinical and academic surgery practice. As a member of the department, participation in research, QI, peer review, and faculty development as well as resident selection, resident and medical student mentoring and training are required.
