Provide administrative support for the curriculum in the College of Human Medicine; explains policies, procedures and scheduling issues to students and faculty in order to advise them of potential solutions to problems and courses of action; assists in planning for physical facilities, equipment, courses and other services needed regarding the delivery of the curriculum; submits grades and maintains appropriate paperwork files; processing/preparation of end of semester materials, uploading materials to web, proctors exams. Periodic travel may be required.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Health Education or a related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience and knowledge of curriculum in the area of employment; word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiar with Desire 2 Learn (D2L) Learning Management System, Just in Time Medicine (JIT) and medical terminology; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and other appropriate software; and exam proctoring experience. Demonstrates strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret information and creatively solve problems; exhibits flexibility and able to adapt to changing conditions; a self-starter who possesses good decision-making skills and demonstrates the ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously; and experience working with faculty, staff, and students in an academic setting.

Description of End Date
