Position Summary

The Department of Psychology at Michigan State University seeks applicants for 2 non-tenure-track instructor/assistant professor positions for the 2021-2022 Academic Year. The primary responsibility will be to teach multiple sections of Introductory Psychology (PSY 101 - Hyflex) involving in-person instruction.  Additional courses such as Community Psychology (PSY 270), Developmental Psychology: Infancy Through Childhood (PSY 244), Internship Training in Psychology (PSY 381), Social Psychology (PSY 235), Health Psychology (PSY 320), and 400-level writing courses in a specialty field are also possibilities. These are academic year, fixed-term appointment subject to annual review.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Psychology or related field

Minimum Requirements

Positions at the instructor level require a Master's degree in Psychology or related field by date of hire.

Positions at the assistant professor level require a Doctorate degree in Psychology or related field by date of hire.

Desired Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field.
