Position Summary
The position is a full-time fixed-term appointment for one year with planned annual renewals effective July 1, subsequently.
Duties include: 30% Outreach: Plan, produce, promote and coordinate: international trade programs and business and educational outreach projects, including preparing training materials, educational tools, and evaluation solutions for these programs and training activities, promoting these programs and training activities, and developing stronger relationships with various local and national agencies and government offices; 20% Outreach: Plan, produce, promote and coordinate: outreach programming to Michigan and US businesses to enhance their global competitiveness; 20% Outreach: Plan, produce, promote and coordinate: professional and curricular development programs and workshops to US faculty; 30% Other: Plan, produce, promote and coordinate: presentations and exhibits in international business conferences and workshops.

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have experience in planning, executing, and delivering programs focused on international trade targeting businesses and trade organizations and faculty and administrators in higher education; experience facilitating workshops and planning events; strong communication skills including social media and other information technology tools to promote events and programs; experience with program evaluation; demonstrated commitment to meeting the needs of US businesses especially in the area of international trade; skills in collaborating with governmental and non-governmental organizations and business associations as collaborative partners in designing and delivering programs. This position requires travel as conditions allow.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with data management and/or evaluation; experience using computer technology to solve problems; ability to connect with academic researchers to promote and support innovative, discipline-based research with strong international business content.
