Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics at Michigan State University invites applications for a tenure system position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning Fall 2020.

 

The position is associated with the Van Haften Professorship in Deductive Literacy.

 

We seek a candidate with outstanding research credentials in any area of mathematics and a demonstrated interest in advancing mathematical reasoning in the undergraduate curriculum. The position enjoys a reduced teaching load and a research stipend for a five-year period.  Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years of experience beyond the Ph.D.

Doctorate -Mathematics

Minimum Requirements
