Position Summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine-McLaren Health System seeks outstanding applicants for a full-time Gynecologic Oncologist  in Lansing Michigan.

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading and rapidly growing Women’s Health Service line at McLaren Health as we build our new Hospital in East Lansing, Michigan (http://www.mclaren.org/redesignhealthcare/redesignhealthcare.aspx) The McLaren system includes 12 hospitals and a 450-member employed primary care physician network with commercial and Medicaid HMOs covering more than 620,000 lives in Michigan and Indiana. McLaren operates Michigan’s largest network of cancer centers and providers, anchored by the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, one of 49 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive centers in the U.S.  The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michigan State University College of Human is a leading research department with gynecologic oncology as a focus (Obgyn.MSU.edu) The successful candidate has the opportunity to build a an outstanding gynecologic oncology program in mid Michigan.

Ideal candidates will be at least three years post fellowship and will have achieved regional recognition as superior clinicians. Board certification and subspecialty board certification in gynecologic oncology is preferred. 

 

 

Required Degree

Doctorate -Gynecologic Oncology

Minimum Requirements

  • A doctorate degree in Gynecologic Oncology
  • Ideal candidates will be at least three years post fellowship and will have achieved regional recognition as superior clinicians.
  • Board certification and subspecialty board certification in gynecologic oncology is preferred.
