The primary focus of this position is to assist faculty and the laboratory manager in laboratory courses within the undergraduate neuroscience program. The successful applicant will help with in-class laboratory instruction of students, coach students in scientific writing for both professional and lay audiences, assist faculty in student evaluations and assessments, meet with students outside of class and contribute to curriculum development.
The position requires an individual with extensive neuroscience knowledge and demonstrated success as a student in biological sciences, laboratory courses, as well as in writing. Experience training individuals in a laboratory setting is desired. It would be highly advantageous for the candidate to have previous experience assisting with an undergraduate laboratory course in neuroscience or a related field. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, possess strong organizational skills, and have the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse pool of students, staff, and faculty.
Bachelors -Neuroscience or Related Field
- A Bachelors degree in Neuroscience or related field is required and must be completed by the start date
