The successful candidate will work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and teach statistics courses for undergraduate students, will help to develop and deploy assessments of student learning outcomes, and will join a large and active group of teaching faculty focused on excellence in service course instruction in the mathematical sciences.
Masters -Applied Statistics
Doctorate -Statistics or mathematics
Candidates must have a Masters or PhD degree in statistics mathematics, or a related field; demonstrated instructional excellence in introductory statistics, and knowledge of or experience with student-centered pedagogical methods.
Knowledge of the statistical software R; familiarity with research on teaching and learning of mathematics and statistics at the collegiate level.
