Working/Functional Title

CRM Manager

Position Summary

The CRM Manager is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team of CRM professionals to design, implement, and support CRM solutions across MSU's campus.

The leader in this position will contribute vision, strategic direction, technical oversight, and influence necessary to make CRM initiatives successful at MSU and utimately advance MSU's mission.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with key project stakeholders to plan and execute CRM projects across campus

  • Ensure projects ship on time and within budget, delivering value and maintaining robust architecture

  • Collaborate with other IT Units on campus to facilitate data sharing and integration necessary for CRM projects' success

  • Develop a support model for existing CRM projects that scales appropriately as CRM needs grow

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Higher Education Management/Leadership or related field; five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in a CRM and higher education business roles; experience with CRM products like Salesforce; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or Higher Education Management/Leadership or related field. Experience with higher education market specific products such as Slate, TargetX, EnrollmentRX. Experience implementing CRM in a large and complex university environment. Experience designing ETLs for data integration between products such as Salesforce and legacy systems. Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team.
