Position Summary

We welcome applications from candidates with a Ph.D. degree in experimental condensed matter or applied physics, with background in ultrafast sciences and/or quantum materials. The postdoc position will involve utilizing multimodal ultrafast photonics, strong-field THz and electron-based techniques to study quantum and nanostructured materials with high resolutions in space, time, and energy. Priorities will be given to candidates with experiences in femtosecond lasers and optics or strong background in electron energy loss spectroscopy, diffraction and microscopy. Although the position will be primarily leading the inquiry in ultrafast sciences problems, the project will include some degree of instrumentation in combining existing technologies. Therefore, interest and capacity to tackle both electron and laser-based technologies are required.
